Red and Green.... waders - Teifi

Though small tides, the falling tide late this afternoon brought some waders into the Teifi estuary.
The most vocal were the 6 Greenshank dropping from the sky joining 9 Sanderling, 9 Ringed Plover and 100 Dunlin.
A second visit at 8pm added 3 smart breeding plumage Red Knot, Ringed Plover now 19 and Dunlin up to 120. Other waders included 2 Whimbrel and 6 Curlew.
Lesser Whitrethoat was singing at the river view point on the reserve this afternoon and at least 1 Grasshopper Warbler is still singing in the reedbed.
