A juv Black Headed Gull, yellow 2C47, at Newport on Monday had been ringed as a nestling in Essex on June 22.
The Med Gull of yesterday, white 3FN2, (which I had confidently aged as 2cy) was ringed as an adult in Antwerp on May 11 this year.
Both were the first resightings.
