3 Sanderlings in amongst the holidaymakers along the tideline at Freshwater West this morning. All pretty much still sporting Summer Plumage - I wonder if they were failed breeders making an early return? The photo shows them to be pretty long winged which, I guess, is not surprising for a high Arctic breeder.
Unusually for Freshwater West there was a lot of Seaweed along the tideline and amongst it two dead Manxies.
