An adult Med Gull (presumed to be the likely regular bird?) was back at Carew Millpond this afternoon. Earlier, we'd noted that the redshank flock at Landshipping Quay had risen to 32 birds plus a greenshank that has been here for 10 days or so (a regular visitor here at this time of year). A whimbrel was calling at the Western and Eastern Cleddau confluence.
Yesterday, Annie noted that yellowhammers were still on territory near Martletwy and also observed a goshawk being mobbed by corvids as it flew over near a regular location for this species.
