Marloes Mere - Marsh Harrier

The Skokholm Marsh Harrier flew over the Oriole hide at the mere at 13.40 and circled gaining height, whilst being mobbed by a Lesser Black-backed Gull, then flew off Eastwards.

In the lane to the hide was a Lesser Whitethroat and several Common Whitethroats with juveniles. A small flock of Pied Wagtails was scattered in the field below the car park. A single Ringed Plover flew around the mere and one Teal, one Coot, two Little Grebes, three Moorhens and a handful of Mallard was most I could see on the water.
