The forecasted influx of painted ladies has arrived. This morning we had at least ten on a single white buddliea in our Crundale garden and yesterday Jean counted at least thirty-five in the meadow adjoining the University in Lampeter - and that was just what could be seen directly in front of where she was sitting.
