Pembroke Rive/Cleddau

From Matt Sutton -
Been up many a creek on the haven doing saltmarsh vegetation survey over the past week. Hand lens round the neck rather than binoculars, but noted a few birds none the less. Great white egret on the Pembroke river near Lambeeth. Brief view of an osprey disturbed from a tree in Prinkly Quarry, south of west Williamston. Greenshanks, green and common sandpipers here and there in ones and twos. 4 male goosander up the channel by Slebech. Singing stock doves west of Monkton and in two places near Cosheston. A group of 4 spotted flycatchers hawking from foreshore oaks north of Landshipping on Friday. A grasshopper warbler booted from Bolboschoenus by Mullock Bridge yesterday.
