Four Wigeon from the river view point were likely the first returning birds, and 3 Goosander are still present. We have at least 6 Greylag Geese - likely a family party amongst c1000 Canada and 100+ Barnacle Geese. Single Green Sandpiper and Greenshank on the marsh and best in the reeds a Grasshopper Warbler yesterday.
c100+ Curlew present in the estuary though only a few small waders - 1 Knot, 1 Sanderling, 11 Ringed Plover and 11 Dunlin.
