Curlew sandpiper, Dale airfield

A Curlew sandpiper together with 19 Dunlin and 26 Ringed plover in recently sown field this evening. With that beak it seemed to have the edge for digging out some huge worms. It would scurry off with its prize eagerly followed by its less adept mates.
2 Manx shearwaters just out from Fowborough Point, Cleddau Estuary early this morning and couple of Great crested grebe.
