Been having fun trying to read Great Black-backed Gull colour rings on the airfield and at the Gann; on the airfield they are so jumpy! So far 6 Skokholm ringed birds read (including James Bond, below), plus one from Bardsey and 1 from what looks like SE Wales somewhere.
Yesterday a Yellow Wagtail in with the cows opposite the Gann car park (Billy Dykes), we also had 11 Mediterranean Gulls at the Gann (6 adults, 3 2CY, 2 1CY), and the first Wigeon of the autumn here (5) in the company of a Shoveler.
