Lesser Yellowlegs

The Lesser Yellowlegs was showing well again this morning in it's favoured spot in front of the Castle. The Spotted Redshank also showing well on the tidal side of the barrage. Also present 58 Black-Tailed Godwits and 9 juv Dunlin.
The small group of birders enjoying the bird were joined by passers by and a very nice passing Policewoman asked what all the fuss was about and took a picture of the "crowd".
