A Curlew Sandpiper was on the sandbank in front of The Webley Hotel as the tide dropped this morning.
Also 6 Knot, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, 25 Ringed Plover, 16 Sanderling. 110 Curlew and 79 Oystercatcher upstream below the gun battery.
On the Teifi Marsh last night a Hobby was calling and chasing Swallows over the river near the gorge. Best news from the marshes though is that a Cetti's Warbler was ringed this morning, the first seen or heard this year on what was a regular breeding site of several territories.
