Cattle egret, Snow buntings, Jack snipe and Black redstart

So pleased to catch-up with the Snow buntings. What accommodating little birds. If you sit quietly and choose the right spot, they come very, very close. Photos taken at SM 79073 06462.

The Cattle egret was moving between the two herds of cattle adjacent to Mullock Marsh, in contrast to the Snow buntings it's a little flighty.
About 40 Snipe on a walk through a saturated airfield with a Jack Snipe giving excellent flight views.
To cap a cracking few hours a Black redstart on the church tower in Dale.
