Another good day for year list additions. One of my favourite autumn birds out here, long tailed tit, put in an appearance (not always annual) with a flock of 21 pinging around the garden this morning (and it looks like some at least are going to roost here). Also making it on to the 2019 list are redwing, great spotted woodpecker and brambling (the latter flying around calling in a group of goldfinch before alighting briefly in a, by now, cramped garden)
Jackdaws build through the autumn and today saw the highest total to date with a flock of c. 550 'murmerating' around the east coast trying to avoid one of the resident peregrines
Chough are still putting on a show with 2 feeding flocks today numbering 19 at Aber Mawr and 7 on the east coast (GM)
