Good to see Andy B on a pretty damp airfield first thing. We soon found a single bird close to where the Snow buntings were at the weekend. I left Andy and went looking for Lapland buntings (without luck). When I returned Andy was a bit further away watching a flock of
5 Snow buntings feeding along the edges of the first runway not far from the Hookses, SM 79596 06257. A dog walker stopped to say there were a dozen a couple of days ago. Single Lapwing and 30 Golden plover.
