Black-necked Grebe @ Penberi Reservoir

A Black-necked Grebe at the far side of Penberi Reservoir, St Davids this evening. I nearly dismissed it as another Little Grebe, given it was feeding in the same place as the resident birds. Looked larger and more black and white even from a distance, particularly the rear of the head and neck, which stood out. I have pics but cant seem to add these to the blog. Also a Goldeneye present with 30 Wigeon. On Dowrog, 2 ringtail Hen Harriers and two Merlin , with a Water Rail heard.
