From Clare Ryland: Male hen harrier hunting on both sides of the road bisecting the common between 3.30 and 4.30pm. Also one short-eared owl at dusk and 2 merlin.
The BN grebe was still on Penberry pond at 3pm with 8 herring gulls keeping it company.
