am - a firecrest feeding in the ivy-clad trees by the stream next to the church. The pictures thanks to the burst feature on my newish Lumix - I did take a lot of pictures of empty twigs. A feature I hadn't noticed before, evident in the last of the morning batch of photos, is the orange feet - apologies for the blur but it shows the feature well
pm, there was much activity with the firecrest (I briefly thought there might be two) and a goldcrest, with the firecrest displaying to the goldcrest with wing spread and crest expanded.
