A few weeks ago my wife called me to come & see a "Goldcrest" flitting about in the garden - it proved to be a Firecrest. Today I arrived home & she said "that Goldcresty thing was back in the garden today" then described how it was the same one because it had an orange tuft on it`s head & a black line through it`s eye !! Then she said "It must be the same one that was here last Winter" I never knew. watched it for a few minutes apparently. Bless her !
