Went in search of the Firecrest but failed to see any - did see nice flock of winter thrushes - mostly Redwing but a couple of Fieldfares, also Buzzard. On my way back, in the field opposite the Pumphouse, were 4 little Egret amongst the cattle - got a bit excited hoping they were the Cattle version but no such luck!
