Following Rosemary's post earlier in the day, I was able to find both the Ring-necked Duck and a drake Scaup (presumably the one that has been at Marloes Mere), along with two Tufties, in the pond where they had been reported, not far from St Bride's. There were excellent views from the Coast path, easily the best I have had of either species. The biggest challenge was to hold the camera steady in the wind.
It was good to have brief views of a Merlin and to watch a Shag diving on the walk back.
