It is with great sadness I report the death of Peter Tithecott from heart failure. A friend and boon companion of many years he will be sorely missed.
Peter explored the world in pursuit of birds and I feel privileged to have shared in some of his journeys. Sharp of sight and with a good ear for songs and bird calls he was just the man to be in the field with.
Committed conservationist he was active with the Wildlife Trust, particularly the Bird Group and the Mid Pembs Section, not just at meetings but with practical effort on reserves.
So long old friend.
