Just had a Little Ringed Plover fly up the garden and past the window, rather helpfully calling as it did so. Lucy got a good view from a different angle, too.
I wonder if it caught a glimpse of our “pond” whilst flying over, and thought about a quick stop?
Takes the Garden Lockdown List to 48 species, with another 10 seen/hard from (but not in/over) the garden. Slightly regrettably yesterday’s Subalp doesn’t make it onto the list, since both my feet (and shadow etc) were outside the bounds of the garden when I saw it!
