A nice combination of winter and summer birds on the Trehill Farm fields, with a late Common Snipe and a Male Wheatear.
Highlight on Marloes Mere was 3 pairs of Shelduck. Numbers of other duck initially seemed substantially lower than before the weekend, but many of them were concentrated on the southern side: it was lovely to hear the calls of the male Shoveler, interspersed with cries of Wigeon and Teal.
A single Chiffchaff at the Britton Hide.
