The Teifi Marshes

A few recent observations...
3 Swallows feeding with 10+ Sand Martins over the marsh this evening, they disappeared as the rain arrived. From a high count of 4 Shoveler, we appear to have a pair and a spare male....
The steady passage of Black-tailed Godwits may be over, leaving us with 3 birds on the river.
At least 1 Common Sandpiper is still in town often feeding below the lower town car park.

On Tues 31st March  - 2 very recently fledged Grey Wagtails were on the stones in the river from the view point, following some quick research this seems exceptionally early.....
