This fine adult Bonaparte's Gull joined the Black-headed Gulls on Poppit salt marsh for the high tide roost this morning

The gull had a lovely fly around, calling distinctively and chasing
the mainly non-adult Black-headed Gulls which in comparison looked a
poor second as many are in moult and particularly scruffy looking.
