Llangwm Pill
From Graham Brace - There was a group of 11 redshank in Llangwm Pill this morning. True to form they make a re-appearance on or around mid-summer day each year after an absence of two and a half months. Are these early returners non-breeding birds, or perhaps males who have deserted their families once their young have left the nest? Their numbers will grow steadily over the next few weeks to around 60 that will be present at this location until they disappear again next spring.
