2 males singing in thick hedges by fields of ?wheat yesterday evening, at c.1900, just half a km south of Hasguard Cross.
There are a good number of arable fields in this area, mainly south and east of the B4327, and driving between Slatemill, Bushford, Hasguard and Rosepool we have seen Yellowhammers regularly (but not frequently!) over the last year.
