Strumble AM

I arrived just after 7 am and there were already quite a few faces ensconced in the lookout some old some new. I opted to sit outside in the sunshine so may have missed some stuff as I could not hear everything from inside. Its a phenomenon known as the "Strumble mumble" where people are sat bent over their telescopes  trying to keep on a distant bird and describe what and where it is. Often it involves several people all Strumble mumbling, consequently its not always easy to work out who is calling what and where it is, in the several miles of Irish Sea in front of us!
Anyway several Bonxies passed by , one mugging a Manxie and eating it, Arctic Skuas both Pale and dark phase harassed the hundreds of Kittiwakes that were passing by. A juvenile Long Tailed tail (at least one) ignored the Kittiwakes. I heard someone call a Pom' but missed it, At least one adult Sabines Gull paused to join a feeding flock. Manxies were passing by in a steady stream with at least one Balearic noted There may have been the odd Big Shearwater spotted but I missed it/them. I called a jv Little Gull mistakenly which became a Black TernšŸ˜‡several comic and sand' terns also  passed by within the steady flow of Kitties.

Some video of yesterdays storm!
