A Wood Sandpiper flew over the garden at 17:40 calling consistently, circled the top end of the Gann, and promptly flew back west! Osprey still here after 19:00, late to bed tonight! The Brent Goose flock hit 76, including ringed YXRX - they are an absolute delight, mostly in family groups, lots of low level chatter between them and the occasional face off. Captivating, my current favourite goose. Nice to see the 2 Buff-breasted Sandpipers early this morning whilst on a Manx Shearwater rescue mission.
