Glossy Ibis @ The Gann

Bird guiding at the Gann this afternoon, watching the Osprey, and then 'patch gold' fell from the sky - a flock of 7 Glossy Ibis spiralled down and landed on the beach!  They proceeded to preen vigorously, before lifting off and heading north up the river valley towards Mullock.  George Mee got lucky and had them fly across the road at Slate Mill, but they didn't stop.  They dropped in at 15:20, and by 15:38 had left the Gann - you had to be Johnny-on-the-spot for these!
