Went to most places today, nothing much at all, a Great Spotted Woodpecker at Marloes Mere, don`t recall seeing one there before, posing nicely on a fencepost - pity my camera focused on the bramble - could`ve used a bit more depth of field. Between St Ishmaels & Milford Haven 4 Red Kites were quartering the hedgerows, this time nothing to distract the autofocus, the dorsal view shows it as a juvenile.......
I`d just got home when the text from James Roden popped up about the two YBW`s at St Brides, although I got there in about 10 mins, the Tit flock which they were with had dispersed but it was a nice 45min stroll around area in the late afternoon sunshine trying to relocate them - without success
