We are trying to make the most of the peninsula whilst we are still in lockdown, although there are more cars about than during Lockdown#1.
This afternoon the adult Bonaparte's Gull reappeared at the Gann, on the river upstream of the bridge (re-found by George Mee after not being seen since last Sunday morning). It preened and rested between 3 & 4pm, and then flew downstream and out into the bay. The male Ruff still present this afternoon.
Over at St Bride's this morning, 2 Black Redstarts around the church were both different to the bird seen here in late October - a first-year male, and this stunning adult male:
Yesterday we took a long walk, and at Marloes Mere there was a smart Marsh Harrier, which as usual was causing havoc with the ducks.
