Gann

Picked up the adult Bonaparte's Gull as it flew from the river with Black-headed Gulls around 14:45 this afternoon.  It went N/NW with the flock towards Mullock/Marloes, perhaps to feed in a field, or to roost somewhere in St. Bride's Bay?  Also a Dublin ringed Great Black-backed Gull (351:D) that we saw at the Gann in October last year, be interesting to find out if it has been seen anywhere in the interim.

Still at least 1 Black Redstart around the house, buildings and garden at Crabhall.

Yesterday, Lisa picked up a juvenile Goldeneye on the lagoon just before dusk, but we could not find it today.

Also yesterday a visiting birdwatcher located the King Eider some 20-30 minutes walk west from Goultrop Roads towards St Bride's, where the trees end.  Perhaps beyond Borough Head, and therefore not viewable from the layby at Goultrop Roads (top of Strawberry Hill, Little Haven)?  Could well still be around...
