Paul and I made our first visit of the autumn. A sizeable roost c.6,000 gulls, majority adult LBB with good number of BH gulls. Handful of Herring gull, 10 Med gulls (7 adult, 2 2cy, 1 1cy), 6 adult Yellow-legs, 2 Common gull (1cy) and 2 GBB (adult and a 1cy). 5-6 Great-crested grebe seemed a bit on the low side. The roost was tight to the far bank and strung out along the whole length of the reservoir so not easy to check thoroughly.
