Yesterday enjoyed watching 3 snipe whizzing around the Dowrog. Later with Rob Davies had nice views of Merlin, This evening,a bit of a falcon dusk with both Kestrel and Merlin hunting over the Dowrog..No Harriers of Short Eared Owls yet,a resident male stone chat showed off its bright russet breast in the lowering sun , later a gang of circa 50 Field fares came into roost. A Cetti's was heard over towards the east of the area.
