The Teifi

The Common Sandpiper is still present, usually on the river in town. Other waders around the estuary include 1 Black-tailed Godwit on the reserve roosting with Curlews. Five Bar-tailed Godwits in the estuary with the Greenshank and the much increased flock of Redshank - now numbering 40. Two Turnstone were feeding with the small wader flock - 39 Dunlin and 9 Ringed Plover today. Seven Shelduck are back along with c90 Lapwings, 5 Little Egrets and c200+ Wigeon in the main estuary.
