Nice surprise in the form of this Greenland White-fronted Goose at the Gann this morning. As it flew off north it revealed some clear damage to the primaries in the right wing - a lucky escape from a gun, or a close call with a fox perhaps?
A female Pintail was with the Wigeon on the sea, a patch tick for me. The Grey Plover were up to 7, 2 Knot were new in, as was a lone Ringed Plover. Amazingly, the sinensis Cormorant had been joined by a second bird, both drying wings out on the island with 5 carbo birds.
