A blustery stroll along the track past Runways Kiln at Marloes Mere this afternoon produced this 1stW Glaucous Gull from the barbed wire gate, having a wash & brush up with it`s cousins - the windy conditions blowing me around had me wondering for few moments if it was an Iceland - but Brian texted me to confirm my initial thoughts.
Further on near the Britton hide a Short Eared Owl posed nicely for me before moving on,
back at the the car park there were more Gulls in the field on the East side & right on the edge of the flock was the Glaucous Gull again, what a monster!
