From Clare Ryland. Whilst wading around Dowrog in the gathering gloom, a ring-tail Hen harrier flew in from the west and then alighted by a previously unseen male. He flew up briefly and then the two settled close to each other. Flock of about 30 Fieldfare feeding in adjacent fields.
