Millin Pill and Sprinkle Pill

From David Ord: A splodge around the Hook headland yesterday in the aftermath of Storm Bella. Large numbers of Lapwing at the mouth of Millin Pill and opposite on the south bank of the W Cleddau, estimated at c.1000 - the most I’ve seen this year. By contrast, the storm seemed to have dispersed the Golden Plover flock, there being only c.600 with the Lapwing and no others in sight during the walk. At the mouth of Sprinkle Pill were 5 Grey Plover that have been here since the autumn and an interesting Redshank sporting one red leg and one completely black one.
