A look around Dale airfield lunchtime today. Dozen or so Redwing on the track up. 25 Lapwing and 8 Curlew on the runways. Just a single snipe in a walk through the inner triangle. A female Merlin dashed through. Good sized flock of 60-70 Skylark with a dozen Linnet feeding in the weedy field at the intersection (where the dotterel was last year). A late Swallow was dashing around over the church and the castle.
