4 Whooper Swans have been frequenting a field a mile east of Croes-goch for about 3 weeks. Lately they have been largely absent and this morning were not to be seen. So off to Dowrog, where as I watched a ringtail Hen Harrier, 2 Whoopers flew past in the direction of Croes-goch.
The Goldeneye was still at Penberi, with 12 Wigeon and similar numbers of Shoveller.
I drove back to Croes-goch thinking i would find the 2 Whoopers in the field, but instead found 8......
