A farmer ploughing a nearby field at Philbeach late afternoon brought in lots of gulls including at least 10 Mediterranean Gull (9 adults, 1 2CY). One of the adults had a white colour-ring but was clearly too far away to read! The Oystercatcher roost was bigger than we have seen for sometime, around 85 birds present just before high tide across on the Musselwick side. Still 2 sinensis Cormorants drying off on one of the islands in the lagoon.
