This morning a quick trip of 5 miles and a little bit further was enough to visit the coast and see some real seabirds for the first time this year at Broad Haven. The local female Kestral did a welcome back fly-past as I was getting the scope up. Just out from Sleek Stone was this single
Long-tailed Duck. 50+
Common Scoter were still around along with three or four
Red-throated Diver and a single
Shag. Further south at Goultrop Roads were two
Great Northern Divers loafing about.
A visit to Druidstone was aborted as the sea fret drifted in, so tomorrow's trip is already booked
