It seemed the bushes were jumping with warblers this evening, with at least 6 Blackcap in the gorse on Dale airfield with others on the track up, first Willow warblers here as well. The blackthorn on the west side of Marloes Mere was heaving with Chiffs, Blackcaps and a couple of Willow warblers one straight into song. A single Swallow and a dozen Sand Martins over the mere. Shoveler 10 pairs and 3 male, Teal 11 pairs, Wigeon 2 pairs and the pair of Tufties. A single Snipe flying around. 6 Wheatear on the coast path across to the Deer Park and whilst chatting to Sash 3 Greylags headed east, and later seen in Trehills fields. Apart from a couple of pairs of Chough the Deer Park was disappointingly quiet.
