While surveying at Strumble Head yesterday at around 12.30 I noticed a corvid coming in off the sea. When I got it in my bins I was delighted to see it was a Hoodie! I grabbed my trusty Canon bridge camera clicked and saw the message "No Memory Card"... Aaaargh!!!
It was now getting distant but Fran got on it with the Sea Trust big lens. I thought it was too far away by then, but on inspecting her shots and then a heavy bit of cropping, I got this, a record shot at least!
I think I have had three or four hanging around Strumble over the years, but this one coming in off the sea was nice!
