This morning at the Gann there was a Sandwich Tern (see photo) and the
Iceland Gull seen yesterday was in the gull flock as were 2
Mediterranean gulls (Probably more but I couldn't tell). 2 Red Kites
were around and a Buzzard appeared to be near the gulls. 1 Greenshank
was in the pools, and out to sea and in the pools there were 71 Wigeon and
27 Teal.
I met David Astins who kindly showed me 4
Black-tailed Godwits (including a Limosa subspecies) and a
winter-plumage Bar-tailed Godwit. He also directed me to a Grey Plover near the roosting oystercatchers.
