Early morning walk

Deer Park first, plenty of Linnets & 3 Wheatears were the only birds, so  I went to the Gann to see what birds the incoming tide would push up the beach. Seven Bartail Godwits hanging on to the shingle spit in the river mouth were nice to see, before being washed off by the rising water - especially those lovely brick red specimens! The Brent Goose flock of some twenty birds likewise vacated the sea & flew on to the lagoon. Also wheeling around was a group of RPs (20?) As I left a Peregrine flew over & out to Musslewick point. A Fabulous morning offering much promise for the Weekend.
