Highlight of today was a male ring ouzel found by Nia, our first of the spring. Also new for year today was whitethroat and, yesterday, hooded crow. Good willow warbler numbers yesterday (20+) and similar numbers of blackcap today. 2 male house sparrows arrived for a day trip on the fresh easterly. The near resident red kite still present.
